SCHOLARSHIPS & Access to STEM
At the Lancaster Science Factory, inclusion is at the heart of our mission. Our mission states, “We actively seek to make our facility and educational programs accessible to all.” We are committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of financial circumstances, have access to high-quality, hands-on STEM learning experiences. Through the generous support of our donors and community partners, we provide need-based scholarships to help families participate in our programs, including Summer Camps, workshops, and educational experiences.
Summer 2026 Update (as of March 20, 2026):
We are proud to share that we have awarded 92 scholarships, a record level of support that reflects our deep commitment to access and equity in STEM education.
At this time, all scholarship funds have been fully allocated, and the scholarship application portal is currently closed.
Summer Camp Scholarships aren’t the only program your donation supports. Approximately 20% of our 84,000+ annual visitors attend LSF or participate in an educational program for free through one of our need-based access and scholarship programs. Donations help us keep our admission prices affordable for everyone in our community, support new hands-on exhibits, provide outreach programs at local schools and youth-serving non-profits
Individual donors are an integral part of our mission. A gift of any size helps us make hands-on STEM education accessible to everyone in our community.
